Star Bulk has taken delivery of three sister Kamsarmax bulk carriers from CM Qingdao Shipyard in China, according to a report published on 30 October. The handovers complete this particular five-sister-vessel construction programme.
The new ships feature exhaust-gas cleaning systems, commonly called scrubbers, alongside shaft generators. The report describes recent deliveries disclosed at the end of October, without providing an individual handover date for each vessel. These are completed deliveries, rather than additional newbuilding orders.
